LeafSpring at Whipps Mill variances

Presented the redesigned childcare center plan, saying it meets all code except two small variances and addresses prior community concerns by moving out of the floodplain and away from homes.

Representing the City of Bellemeade, supported the revised plan but asked that the dumpster and a bit of driveway be shifted about 30 feet farther east from Bellemeade homes.

Opposed the variances, questioning the building height math, tree grove preservation, dark-sky lighting commitments, overnight lighting, and long-term stormwater detention maintenance.
